The USA government published last week the 2022 edition of the Special 301 Report, an annual report that assesses the state of protection and enforcement of Intellectual Property (IP) rights of its main trading partners. In this edition, Brazil remains on the so-called “Watch List” of the report, despite having recognized the country's advances in trademark and patent protection and in the fight against piracy.
