Fernanda Vilela Coelho has been working with Intellectual Property since 2001. As managing partner of Vilela Coelho Intellectual Property, she led the strategic management of intangible assets, focusing on their protection, enforcement, and value creation. She was also responsible for overseeing people and operational processes, financial management, and the implementation of internal governance and human resources policies. She is currently a partner at Montaury, where she continues her practice with a focus on trademarks, patents, IP contracts, and legal consultancy in Intellectual Property.

With extensive experience advising both national and international companies, Fernanda is recognized for her personalized approach and her ability to align legal strategies with clients' business objectives. She has been acknowledged by leading international rankings such as WTR 1000, Revista Análise Advocacia, Leaders League, and Women’s IP World.

Fernanda is actively involved in the national and international IP community. She is a member of ASPI, ABPI, INTA, and AIPPI, serves on AIPPI’s Nominating Committee, and coordinates ASPI’s Diversity Committee. Since 2013, she has held consecutive terms as Social Director of ASPI, contributing to institutional initiatives, events, and integration activities within the sector.
