Yuri assists clients from different industry and technology sectors in protecting their most valuable Intellectual Property, with particular emphasis on complex IP litigation. He has over 10 years of experience in the Intellectual Property field and his practice includes counseling domestic and foreign clients in cases related to trademarks, patents, advertisements, copyrights and unfair competition practice.

He has litigated a diverse range of complex IP cases before Brazilian Federal and State courts and has also experience with IP licensing agreements, anti-counterfeiting and boarder measures, and domain name disputes, including Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) and Domain Name Dispute Resolution Service for .BR (Saci-Adm) proceedings.

Yuri received his Intellectual Property Postgraduate Degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro in 2016 and obtained an LL.M. degree in IP law from The George Washington University (Washington D.C.) in 2019.

He is a member of the American Bar Association (ABA) Section of Intellectual Property Law, as well as of the International Trademark Association (INTA).
